Is it a pirated copy of Vegas? It's okay if it is. What version of Windows are you running? Windows 7, 8, or 10? I play the guitar and the audio is slightly behind from when I plucked the string. I know this sounds silly, but believe me, its noticeable in my music videos. When I have a separate audio and video source, they can be synced up perfectly to the sound waves, but when rendered are about 0.02 seconds off or so. My processor is Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8400 2.80GHz and my graphics card is the GeForce GTX 1060 3GB (though I have 16gb of extra ram if that makes any difference). I have always had a problem with Sony Vegas video and audio sync issues. I just can't seem to find a solution to this :( I tried opening it and testing it in the Windows Video Editor and the audio/video is in sync (I prefer to use Vegas for audio balancing.)Īm I missing something here? So I'm rendering a youtube video and I keep getting issues with audio syncing, the video lags behind the audio whenever it renders in sony vegas and its not like this whenever I record it off my webcam, but when I try to edit it ends up with audio and video sync issues and it's getting EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING.

I've looked up how to fix this issue and I've also tried switching the "Enable So4 Compound Reader for AVC/M2TS" value to "FALSE" (which ultimately leads it to the video being un-openable in the program.) This problem happens during the editing phase. Whenever I upload it to Vegas 17 however, the audio is relatively synchronized but eventually falls out of sync for one reason or another. I look at the videos in their raw states and the audio is perfectly in sync, as I've gone to several points to check and see.

I used a nice quality capture card to do so and it converts the captures into an mp4 format. In other words: Move the audio object on Track 3 so that the wave peaks and valleys line up with. Hello!
