I honestly haven't made any purchases since then and am hesitant to do so as I'm afraid they will just be a waste if the same thing happens.
I also purchased Tropico 3, and the Modern Times DLC at the same time and downloaded them no problem. I currently have a wired connection directly through my router/modem. It never hangs, it just seems to be going ahead fine and then suddenly I will get the error. I have tried downloading with the xbox off, I have tried downloading with it on in the background, I have tried it on while moving the controller every few moments to make sure the active downloads screen is at the top (wasted a couple of hours), nothing seems to help.
